Yes. BF3 is quite graphics intensive. Most people have to knock their clocks down from what they found to be stable for benchmarking. Remember... stability is based on what you do, not just benchmarks.

So, do I have a 1300+ card?

Also, another question. I've bought all three of my gpu's from the egg, and this being my first Asus+Nvidia (others where Sapphires) it had no sealed plastic wrap. Looking at the unboxing videos, not once have i seen this. Worried I received a "Open Box" cause of this, and while it only showed two other signs of tampering, the plastic bag holding the gpu was wrinkled and the plastic sticker covering the back plate was bubbled. I thought it had been tested before and sent back. Are all Asus or nvidia not "shrink wrapped"?

FWIW my ASUS non-TOP wasn't shrinkwrapped from Newegg. The warranty shouldn't be affected unless someone registered the card, might be worth pinging Asus to make certain this is the case. If not, I personally wouldn't worry about it.

I have not tried yet, but I played with 1384 MHz at BF3, Skyrim and crysis full of mods, and 2033, so I guess i will can. Ive only tested heaven and metro 2033 benchmark with 1403 Mhz

one thing I've noticed is that different speeds of ram will allow different core speed. If you hit a wall try to lower the ram, or even speed up and maybe you can pass the wall.

greetings

Im in the boat for a new GTX 670. I take it the EVGA FTW would be the best choice?

I'm running two in SLI at 1300+ and couldn't be happier.

Played around with my OC a bit more... +122 on the core for 1273 MHz , +600 on memory for 3604 MHz.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Probably could go a bit higher on the memory clock, but overall I'm happy with performance. Shoot, I was happy with the card out of the box. This is just gravy... thumb.gif
