Also, would a I5-750 bottleneck this it all? It's OC'd to 4GHZ and I could probably get it higher.

I would have picked the GB if it wasn't for the blue PCB tongue.gif.

Way overblown imo. Once its in your rig it looks fine.

should i be worried about the temps and the throttling? i haven't bought anything EVGA so I am quite apprehensive about buying their 670 FTW just to get a higher clock....if at all.

does anyone know what the max observed clock is for the 670 FTW with factory clocks (just to give a rough idea of how much i need to get over 1200MHz)?

They vary but mine is 1173.

oh ok...maybe i should just stick with the gigabyte then cos there's a chance i might get a low clocking card like yourself and that's not good tongue.gif

EDIT: had a quick look at your techpower up validation page and it has your base clock at 1126, therefore your boost clock should be 1204 with max clock of 1250+

unless you downclocked it for the sake of stability.

Is it possible for SLI owners to vote twice?

670 FTW SLI

One card clocks 1270MHz...the other 1283MHz...looks like I didn't get the lottery like majority of the 1300MHz FTW owners

When I clock both cores at 1250MHz I seem to be able to push 1900MHz mem no problem (+695 offset...3802MHz shown in Precision X)

thegh0sts, I get 1150 and 1202 max boost out of the box...with OC temps idle is 26-33 and load tops out at 65 but I have my fan profile to run at 75% at that temp so it's pretty noisy IMO

all the core clock values mentioned above are the max boost frequency shown in Precision X v3.0.3...which is what it runs it 99.9% of the time in Heaven 3.0

No, he only has the cards that where around during the first weeks of launch.
