Ah I see. I wonder what games like Infinity Blade 2 would use? Vectors would definitely require more performance than rasters right?

Honestly I'm not sure, I haven't done much research in vector-based rendering. I believe that is correct though. One of the things Apple is going to have to realize is that although they're increasing the resolution of their devices, developers will be hesitant to use all of that power. Larger textures, more detail, etc., means larger assets and larger downloads, and anything over 50mb must be downloaded wi-fi only. Developers will generally try and stay under 50mb if possible so they can have a larger consumer base. Vector-based rendering will allow things to remain "native" looking at any resolution, but you do not necessarily gain quality, and yea, it might hurt performance.

I like it. My only complaint with the iPhone 4 was that it was too small. I'm so fed up with Android now that I am seriously thinking about switching in a couple of months.

I think most developers try and keep their apps under 50MB for sure, but there's many games which are well over 500MB to download and a handful or so that are over 1GB, and they're even larger when decompressed -- the largest I've seen has been 2GB.
