Nah, probably just Tom trolling...

Would be cool though, even though it's likely either a mistake or an updated version with 100mhz higher stock clock and $200 higher price.

Arctic Cooling has had that reference for weeks, if not months. I noticed it when I was browsing for Coolers for the X79 platform, but I think I had already seen it before, someone had already pointed it out. The possibility of there being a 3980X has been heard for months now, and it is logical it will be released sometime in the future, just like the 1155 platform had the 2700K. And the 1366 platform had the 965 EE and then the 975 EE and then the 980X and even the 990X.
