so yeah, after some just balls to the walls overclocking im still at it.

i pumped up my NB and SB voltages all the way... lol im watching the temps though never breaking 45 C. everything runs so much smoother now that the voltages are up there. hasnt hung on startup once. right now im @ 3.150ghz 1400fsb. still going strong, hasnt hung since i uped the voltages on the NB and SB. Tbh it seems like its running smoother on bootup now. If you could hook me with ur bios settings id love to compare them still.

thanks.

ok i topped her off at 3.188. voltage increases arent making it any more stable at this point.

so heres the big question. do i leave it run my second 7950gx2 and NOT get an intel based bored. Or should i get the new board, stop using the 7950 and overclock it farther?

7950gx2 x2 and 3.2ghz
OR
7950gx2 x1 and 3.2ghz+++

thats the question at hand..

what do u guys think ?

i say ur best beat would be having one 7950gx2 and a better board..

but you could always try getting a crossfire board such as the asus p5w deluxe and try hacked drivers to run sli, i believe a member named sdumper?? it doing it wit two 7900gt's

123k on aquamark3

going to run a few more like 3dmark and see what i get.

best score yet.

thats with both 7950gx2's and a final clock of 3.150ghz on the n590 board.

got the new board here and will do a swap to see if i can get a huge diff on one card and faster cpu clock. i think the hacked drivers dont work anymore regarding xfire and sli mixing.

dunno, we shall see.
