Tell me which configuration is better

Thread Starter
I just bought 2gbs of ram for my pc plus I already had one half a gig so I installed the two dimms 1gig each into slots 1 and 3 then I tried installing one 512mb dimm and running and got one set of results (cpuz below). then I tried removing the single dimm of 512mb & swapping for two dimms total 512 mb into slots 2 & 4 & got different results. what I want to know is which configuration will work the best & what the different results mean:355

First setup is faster but the second has slightly tighter timings. As far 1 dimm vs 2, it shouldn't make a difference. I'd go for the first setup, the frequency is usually more important than timings, and using less dimms is usually a good thing too. Honestly I don't think it'll make much of a real difference, but the first setup is better.
