Linux is definitely going to be fit for gaming by the end of this year. This and Steam for Linux and I can happily jump if I wanted to.

There's not much luck for the HD 6450 on 3.5, but other than that, AMD graphics are getting a real good boost outta this update. If games were compatible with Linux, I think many AMD GPU users would switch to Linux distros.

I can only see one limiting factor for games on linux, And that's lack of directX.

I'd like to be able to run the games more than the client... Steam is not an api. Valve might make all their games Linux compatible, but what about other developers?
