Cant say i dont trun down the graphics xD and that its 1440x900...but srsly guys what gives...a 6870 is TWO times better then 5670...7whatever is far better then 6870...meaniiiiiiing your stuff can handle everything you throw at it (excluding all of those 120hz,1600p guys)..
Anyone? all i see are posts "schucks my 6950 sucks now"
The guy above me gets it,and a lot of you do..this post is just so someone can explain why people generally keep whining about their awesome cards that other people whould be happy to dream of...
Graphic cards sure did spoil some people tongue.gif

It's not something that people complain about in general computing circles. Most are completely happy with their lot, but on a site like this full of enthusiasts they want the absolute pinnacle regardless if they can make use of such hardware. I got rid of my GTX680's as i wasn't quite content with them....but i'm odd like that.

I do agree with you though, people get too caught up in the latest tech and half the reason they buy all this expensive stuff is to show off or benchmark 24/7 just so they can be noticed for a few months on a meaningless forum. Sad but true... most don't need it and don't even utilise it properly and they buy it for the sake of owning it.

Personally i only go overkill as it's something i DO need for the tasks i do with my system. I don't just game.... but the same can't be said for a lot of people around here and i find that worrying.

Hey now don't be making fun of people like me for buying top of line extreme performance graphics cards such as the 4850. I understand in today's age an HD4850 might be much but, i only got it to future proof my computer. biggrin.gif
