You forgot to add the $200 Newegg markup over MSRP on launch. yessir.gif

Just get us some freaking decent drivers with some optimizations already AMD and MAYBE I will be excited for new hardware. As it stands the 7xxx drivers are horribly unoptimized!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Nice card though...

Nice card though...

The June 6th drivers that were just released (not the first june beta...the 2nd one) is amazing per some posters at HardOCP. It fixes all of the tri and quad crossfire issues that plagued previous releases.

Pretty freaking sad that it took this long for tri/quad to work properly and without tearing, but apparently its fixed now. I used crossfire 7970s for some time and I was happy with them, but AMD needs to throw a lot more money at software development for their cards. I always thought AMD hardware is pretty good...hell....the 7970 is a beast once you overclock it past 1200, its ridiculously fast. Its just unfortunate that AMD doesn't pay attention to the little details that nvidia really covers the bases on.

Maybe we should start petitioning EK lol. They are the only ones that make block's for most non-reference cards.

According to that, mid-late July. Price expected around $1200. DL-DVI and 4x mini-DP. thumb.gif
HIS wants to beat powercolor out with the first X2 card. One sexy card!

How are HIS, Asus and Powercolor all capable of producing 7970x2 cards in less than 6 months and AMD can't make a downclocked equivalent in the same time frame ?
