I'm surprised! After the TV capacitor scandal!

Samsung makes some great products, but they have a major issue with firmware releases.

Just a useless post pointing out that Horse Head double posted.

Yeah I agree as far as monitors go they have really gone downhill in both service and quality.

I have had to RMA so many Samsung monitors produced in 2009-2010. (about 55% of the 200 220BW models we use at work have been RMA'ed in less than 3 years, and more of them are failing every month, but are out of warranty) And I'm starting to see the same problem with 305r models.

Their Customer service has gone downhill greatly and their RMA service has gone from a 2 day process to taking over 2 weeks in average. It's so bad That we have stopped buying Samsung and moved on to HP monitors

As far as phones go, I have had no issues and genuinely like their products. I did have to replace one Samsung phone last year. But Sprint handled that, not Samsung

They do make nice laptops. But cant someone besides apple give me 16:10? I dont even like osx i just want a bettter form factor and more vertical pixels. I probably wont get an apple because they are so overpriced but still...16:9 is awful for laptops

I prefer panasonic for TVs but they make great PC components.

My phone is samsung too I guess, but it's plastic mostly.

I've preferred their phones for years. Hell, right now I'm writing this on my Galaxy S II. Despite their TV thing a bit ago, they've done nothing but good work.

I think their phones are crap. Basically they make them bigger so the phones can have a better battery and like that have faster cpus. Then they bluff around that their phones are better than apple's. mad.gif

I despise Samsung. I've had a couple different products as well as my father. They were defective and the customer service was horrible... not to mention it was some dude in Istanbul who answered the phone.

Never again mad.gif
