Alright so in BIOS, I just found "CPU Internal Thermal Control." Is that what you were talking about? Because that was the only thermal thing that I could find under the Avanced > CPU tab

No its terrible. I started off messing around with getting it to start with 970, mem 485. I then tried adjusting the vcore from 1.225 all the way to 1.35 on all the intervals it gives me and no luck. Then I ate dinner . After that I started messing around with 1080, 540 and I tried all the vcore voltages like I did gor 970 and still no luck. Why is there this barrier anything after 970? Am i doing something wrong or is my motherboard/cpu not letting me go past this mark. I believe that at 970, that is 3.4 ghz since the D920 has a muliplier of 14x.

Any ideas? Anyone?

what are your load temps at 960? Check with Speedfan or your motherboard program. It may be something as simple as it gets too hot due to your stock cooler=crap.

At 960, speed fan reports 33 celcuis. And SiSoft's Sandra reports 34 celcuis. So....

you need to run occt during the monitoring of the temps. This program puts load at 100% on both cores. I beelieve when you are in the bios, your cpu supposedly runs at 80% load, thus causing a heated core set. Correct me anyone if I am wrong, I'm not too confident about that statement...

can be downloaded here:

That link doesnt work

So right now Im at 968 and 484. It would not boot when vcore at auto, so I set to manual, and upped the voltage a little. Except that in cpu-z, the voltage is lower than what I set in BIOS. I tried about 4 times increasing the voltage because it would boot, but then lock up right after windows started.

I tried to go to ocbase.com and its in a weird language but is this still the right thing you are saying to DL? http://www.ocbase.com/perestroika/index.php?Download
