Thanks for the quick reply guys. I will consider doing a full reformat if that is the only other way to fix my performance. Is there any guide online that can help start me off on a full reformat without using my re-installation DVD? I am not quite sure what I should be doing without using that CD

That 600 watt PSU must be a diabolotek PSU.(or some other crappy PSU)

I would ask for a refund.

Also try running windows experience index if you haven't, it will give you a score but more importantly make sure that all your hardware is detected and working properly.

For the reformat you do use the CD

Put it in, restart computer, when it asks if you want to run the CD press any key. '

Then its pretty basic after that, just follow instructions.

Quick Google search came up with this, might be useful.

Well id suggest an overclock. Be careful though. What sort of CPU cooler do you have ? Also I know ibuypower usually uses xion psu's so mind your power usage. Mind your temps. Do you happen to know anything about the power phase or vrm cooling on that board ?

oc'ing the gpu might raise your score around 3800 mark. oc'ing the cpu will raise it even higher but unfortunately your motherboard is not designed for oc'ing.

btw, that cpu can oc up to 4.8 GHz or even 5 GHz depending on the motherboad and cpu cooler used.

Not quite sure where I can find this information, drivers may be a problem since I might not have installed ALL of them properly.

I have tried running MSI afterburner and it definitely does help but it still will dip to 10 fps after a while of playing. I am running the resolution at 1440x900. I used to use a monitor with a 1980x1200 resolution but I had to downgrade due to the computer's poor performance.

I would not OC on that psu...

I would ask for a refund tho and see if they do it, or get a new PSU possibly then OC.

Has a bulldozer chip, and radeon 6850 card. should be fine.

No mention of what PSU they used though. So that could be a problem, or like already mentioned. Drivers!!!!

Matx, one pci e slot, support for only 2 dimms. Id be very wary overclocking that Bulldozer on that board. Doesn't look like an enthusiast board to me.

I would return it if at all possible.
