I love ASUS and Fujitsu, but anything will work besides Dell and Toshiba. I have had horrible luck with those brands.

Resolution doesn't matter too much, I will not be playing any games or watching movies on this laptop.
Are you looking to buy NEW or would refurbished/recertified/used be okay?
New would be best, but am not against refurb/recert.
How long should the battery last? (Under optimal conditions, no movies/games/heavy internet)
I will always have this laptop plugged in. Just as long as it last more than an hour I will be fine.

My girlfriend will be using this for school and I will be using this to run VirtualDJ for partys. Just need to be able to handle Microsoft Office and VirtualDJ. Anything more than that will be a plus. I am low on money right now so I am looking for the best buy and hoping I could get some help from here.
