The PWM header layout is down to the mobo manufacturer and is not necessarily logical.
Unfortunately Speedfan doesn't work with every motherboard.

Manually it works but automatic profile not or i'm not able to set it properly (even if I followed Martin's instruction it always go to the maximum range I put)!

Edit: I did it now it switchs between 20%PWM in idle to 40%PWM in full load, moving the flow rate from 2300rpm to 5000rpm!
If everything keep gooing in this way it's eccellent!

just two things I don't understand:
-To control the fan1 I have to manage the PWM3, why pwm3 and not pwm1?
-I can't set well automatic profile in speedfan, it always speed pump at the maximum limit I put, why doesn't it modulate (es. if I put from 20% to 50% it always put at 50%)?!

glad to see the mystery solved.

question:

was the splitter cable ours, or another brand? If ours, we'll obviously be glad to replace. just email michelle@swiftech.com with copy of your invoice if you are in the US/Canada or rma@bacata.net if you are in europe.

Thank you

Now everything is perfect!
