7950gt (w/ GRAW) or 7950gt KO(w HM: Blood Money)?

Thread Starter
I've been waiting to the 7900gto to come back into stock at newegg for a week now... I've sort of gotten feed up waiting and have considered getting the 7950gt instead.... thoughts? and if you agree should i get the evga 7950gt ko superclocked (600core/1450mem)for $280 (comes with hitman: bloodmoney) or the asus 7950gt (550core/1400mem) for $270 (comes with GRAW)?

I'd prefer to spend less and also get the game i want (graw), but will the superclocked KO edition perform better? or when overclocked will they hit the same cap?

Get KO version with Blood Money. The gameplay of GRAW is just slow and not worth it (its really a shame its still called a Rainbow Six game..). Blood Money is a much better game and the KO version is a better card..and all for only $10 more.

I'd definitely go for the Asus 7950GT with GRAW, for one the game is insanely better and will showoff your graphic capabilities more than Hitman: Blood Money will.

Second off, you can easily overclock it to the eVGA speeds with no worries at all.

Overall, you save 10 bucks, overclocking is a breeze, and you get a very cool game in GRAW..

Get the evga no doubt. You will be able to step up to a g80 gpu when they come out. And also you can pretty much do whatever you want to the evga and they will still honor the warranty. Removing heatsink, OCing they don't care. Pay the extra 10 bucks for that alone.

eVGA warranty and step RMA program is worth the extra $10 dollars easily and you can step up to a G80 for like 150 bucks. I say eVGA.

I really want to get graw though T_T... but the idea that i could do a stepup is sort of an interesting proposistion...
how do they do they work out the pricing for the stepup??probably something murderous where I'd be better off selling it on ebay...

no actually they give you what you paid for your card, so say if you pay 289 for your 7950gt you get 289 towards your step up. no deppresiation in value. You do have to step up with in 90 days of purchasing the card though.

I have both games and Hitman is by far the better game, both have stunning visuals and are pretty much on par. There are a few cool perks in GRAW like the helmet system and targeting and sniper is pretty cool, but its really raelly challenging and you'll get tired of it when you keep reverting to a save and you have to go up against a plaza full of guys with 23 rounds in your pistol left... Hitman Is really cool because there are so many little things that make it immersing... also upgrades to the weapons are far better in Hitman... (by the end you can upgrade you silverballer pistols to silenced scoped machine pistols with laser pointer (and you have dual ) And if you get bored in Hitman, just run the trainer I guarantee you'll be able to play the same level again and again if you can kill every single person in the level with a sniper that doesn't need to reload
