NZXT Hale82 Died and Working Again

Thread Starter
Ok this has to be the weirdest sh** that ever happened to me.

I recently bought a NZXT Hale82 750w Power Supply and it died about a month ago (around May 10-11)
I thought that it was dead and gone. I was going to RMA it but before I could do so, I tested it and voila!
It lit up and it started working again. I did a paperclip test. Worked. Plugged it to MoBo. Worked.

I wonder what happened to it while it fell into a coma because the last thing i remember before it stopped working
was I forced a hard shutdown on my CPU and that was pretty much it?

Thoughts? Should i still replace it? Should i test it some more?

that's weird.. :/ it's just a seasonic unit. Internally Identical to a TX750(v2)M or SeaSonic M12II (750w?)

Check your Voltages-Using HWMonitor (Google.) Run some Furmark, that would probably create maximum power draw - or F@H.

Weird right? And yeah I have to stresstest it a bit. I probably messed it up due to the forced shutdown right?

It's based on the same platform as Corsair TX v2 and Seasonic M12 II 750W which is Seasonic xx AT.
Check out this thread, same thing might have happened to yours.

Hopefully its still in warranty. NZXT does a great job with Customer service. Forced shutdowns i don't know if it would hurt psu but what is causing the forced shut downs maybe thats the problem causing you to think psu?

Maybe one of the cables were not all the way in right. I would keep testing.
