Between MOMO, Driving Force, and Driving Force EX, what would you choose? What is the difference between EX and non-EX Driving Force? I'm gonna be racing in some NFS:MW, GTR 2 and Toca 3, maybe even NFS:C when it comes out.

I would say the MOMO, Logitech also just came out with a really really nice system the G25 its also 300 bucks but you get what you pay for.

The momo looks really nice. If I can't get the money for the g25 im gonna be going with the momo

lol G25 is outa my price rang... I got between $50-$80 to spend, maybe a little over if it is worth it.

Edit: PS2 compatability is not needed, but a definate plus. Right now I'm liking that EX.
Super Edit: Amazon has EX for $59 shipped Super Saver!

I use a el cheapo Joy Stick that I bought 4 years ago, the Logitech WinMan Extreme, I think I paid $40, it works great for me and so far I'm going to black list number 1, which I started today, I'm yet to finish the 7 races and 5 or 7 milestones but everthing else I'm done with.

I tried the wheel once but I couldn't get it right, I think I like pushing buttong and using one hand for steering only.

as a sim racing geek, do NOT get anything but the Driving Force PRO, Logitech Momo Racing or the G25

Momo has 270 degree rotation, and nice padle shifters, whereas the DFP (Driving Force Pro) has 900 degree rotation and Buttons on the back instead of paddles.

The G25 pwns both of those, but is a LOT more.

The Momo works (unofficially!) on the PS2, as does the G25 and the DFP (Dont be fooled, the DFP isn't "Designed" For GT4 or PS2, it's just a marketing deal!)

The DFP, Momo and G25 all have FFB and the DFP and Momo are the best wheels for under $300, they are ~$100. The G25 is the best wheel for under $500, after that your looking at some crazily priced Frex/Ecci/ACT Labs setups

I find that if you use the driving force on a pc you dont get any forcefeedback. With the MOMO you will... (talking for pc)

Just a heads up... get the warranty...I've had 4 now and on every one the gas pedal develops an issue... It will stop reading full throttle after about 6 months I bought mine at best buy and after the second one they made me prove there was a problem... Don't know why this happens but I'm sure since its it the pedal I use most I think it wears out the sensor

Shaggyt

Note: They may have fixed this issue by now, my warranty wore out so I constantly have to adjust range in settings to half of the pedal being full throttle on this last one I have

this happens with the Rev A pedals on the DFP and Momo, if you buy a new one you will get Rev B (either way it says Rev on the box) - Rev B's dont get this problem, thus it;s better to buy a new one!

Well I modded the one I have now and it seems to be fine for now... Took sandpaper and shaved the stop on pedal down to allow more travel... BUT as soon as that quits qorking and get done with this upgrade I plan on getting a new one... Anyone seen anything about 900* wheels for pc... I know they have some for consoles and I haven't really looked into it that much but I just imagine the difference in the feel and play of a 900* wheel

Most of my friends can't get used to the small area of the current wheel and usually end up playing pinball then actually driving lol I'm used to how much of the wheel I have to use but would LOVE something with a broader range than the 360* the MOMO offers.
