i didnt have any drivers for my DFP... and you only get 180 deg rotation too....

well thats all i get, if you can point me in the direction of some drivers which allow force feedback and 900deg rotation you get cookies

persoanlly i would go with the DFP or the momo wheel if you plan to play on the computer

i have the DFP and i like it because of the stick shift and the massive amount of buttons which come in useful for GTR2

Momo does 270 degrees

I, like you, have a Rev A momo, pedal problems and all (was using an old wheel just for pedals, now i've bought some high-end pedals, they rock!), and although i want a 900 degree DFP, aparently you can't drift with them as the mechanics wont let you turn the wheel quick enough to counter steer, but aprently the G25 fixes it (can rotate 2.5x faster)

Ah... if only i wouldn't fritter money away on my pc...

EDIT - The main selling point of the DFP is the 900 degrees, you can get the drivers here

Oh, and let me just show you something...

Momo Racing

DFP

G25

Elusive "Momo Red" - Older version of the Momo, not as good

Ordinary Driving Force (DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE!)

Driving Force EX (Rubbish, dont get it!)

They look like this, no variation, dont be fooled by an incorrect label!

Lol thats what I meant You can't make a 270* wheel into a 900* because it will not go around a complete 3 times like your cars steering wheel. There is no driver fix since the wheels are NOT capable of it... You actually have to BUY a 900* wheel I want one but haven't put much research into it since rig upgrade had to come first... BUT it is on the list If anybody does know of one plz let me know

I know, but the DFP is 900 degrees, end of, the drivers can "make" it not rotate as far, and if you have a DFP that only goes x degrees then something is wrong, and installing the drivers will help

if you do want to drift, it seems lowering the rotation to 540 degrees (still double what the Momo does!) seems to fix it, although how you lower the rotation on a console i dont know

EDIT - If your dfp doesn't seem to work at 900 degrees, theres a key combo you need to press, lemme find it...

EDIT 2# - There is a thread on the DFP's problems, and the momos problems here

Done some more research into it...

Rev B pedals have metal bits where the Rev A's used flimsy plastic bits, and it appears the Red Momo used higher quality bits than the ordinary Momo, and could be classed as a better wheel.

Aparently the DFP "feels" of a higher quality, but i don't know, i've never used a DFP

EDIT - Time to write my first overclock.net FAQ!

Ive been using a crusty old PS1 steering wheel with a PS1 to USB adaptor for a couple years, plays TOCA 2 and 3 great!
I love the look of logitechs new offering, a bit pricey but you get wot you pay for I suppose!

I find that the NFS`s arent as good to play on a wheel, maybe its just me but they seem more of a `button mashing` game than driving.

I think I will have to save for the new logitech one!
