Laing DDC-1T enough for CPU + GPU

Hi all!

Im just to pull the trigger and get back to water cooling and, I am deciding what pump to buy.

I was wondering if the DDC-1T is enough for a loop in a little Lian Li A05nb, with the aquagrafx and Raystorm blocks plus 2 radiators (360 + 120 mm), as the size of the pump matters for me. The one I was thinking on is the MCP655, both with an EK Top + EK 150 res x2 on top.

Thanks.

PS: When I say "enough" I mean there will be no difference between these pumps in my loop in terms of performance. I know one DDC-1T can handle such loop, but in comparsion with a 655, I dont know what the difference is.

It will do fine. Flow is hugely overrated. Bigger pumps don't translate to a lower water temperature or more heat dispersion.

The difference wont impact performance enough to really matter in most common setups.

The difference between a DDC-1T (MCP350) and a 655 is ...

The 655 has better flow with lower head-pressure. Good for no restrictive loops.

The MCP350 has a little less flow with higher head-pressure. Good for loops with some restrictions.

If a retail performance top is added to the DDC-1T, then the flow is increased and the head-pressure is better. a win-win overall.

True, the DDC is a smaller size with a good punch for pumping. This allows better placement in a case and can sit in more places.
