The hammer has finally dropped at Logitech. The struggling peripherals maker said Friday that it’s sacking 450 employees as part of a global restructuring first announced in April.

The cuts, which will reduce the company’s workforce by about 13 percent, are expected to trim Logitech’s annual operating costs by $80 million.

If you have stock: Sell, Sell, Sell!

The cuts reduce the company’s workforce by about 13 percent and are expected to trim Logitech’s annual operating costs by $80 million. The company promises that shareholders will see the move’s benefits by the second half of its current fiscal year.

I hope it works out for them.

I will be so sad if logitech goes under. I really love their hardware, always have - they've always made great stuff.
Logitech's total crap. Bought two crappy speakers off them. None of their keyboards are mechanical or decent.

Yeah I'm rooting for Logitech to pull out of this financial slump too. I've always found their products to be dependable at reasonable prices.

Their mice are better than Razer's in my opinion. Good quality stuff. And their headsets are pretty amazing too.

I disagree completely. Their hardware has been nothing but fantastic for me. G500, G9x, wireless illuminated keyboard. All great.
