bios settings for memory

hi guys,

i installed some memory in my rig, to config ram in bios by manufactor settings i just need to set the speed 1600mhz the voltage 1,5v and latency 9-9-9-24 right?

its in my sig but the memory are 4xcorsair vengeance ...

if i set everything to auto with 1600mhz latency is 11-11-11-29 voltage 1,7v and cpu vtt goes to 1,4v

The auto settings in the bios are generally pretty poor, try setting them manually.

set them manually..but bump the DRAM voltage up to 1.52-3
umm..also you can try to tighten them up..

how to lower ram timings: lower the 4 settings cL,trcd,trp,tras) 1 setting at a time.one notch at a time .lower it..reboot..see if post..lower 1 more..reboot..etc..until you don't POST..then go back to the last one that worked..
