Thread Starter
I'm thinking about replacing my 5+ year old psu with a new gold rated one. Wattage really doesn't matter, but I would probably want a 650 watt minimum just for headroom as I probably won't be going dual gpu in the future. As far as price goes anything around $150±$25 is in my budget.

I created a poll with a few psu's that I'm considering and just wanted to see what the general consensus on which psu is the best.

If there are any psu's I should be considering that aren't on that list feel free to post them. I do prefer psu's that are single rail.

Thanks for your input!

Poll's for something like this really aren't a good idea. You are much better served listening to knowledgeable people and reading reviews than listening to the biased masses.

Since the X 650 is the same as the AX650, you go with the AX650 over the X 650 solely because It's $120 after MIR/Promo and fully modular.

That's not what I would buy though.

Kingwin LZP-650 $130
NZXT HALE90 750 $125

Why would you not choose corsair/seasonic, even though it's cheaper than the others you listed?

The LZP 650 is superior to the X650/AX650 in all regards.. and it can function as a 750-800W Gold unit on top of it.... the Hale90 is similar in performance to the AX/X but offers superior output for a similar price, it also overloads better and it's quieter at high loads.
