physics card, video card, sound card

Thread Starter
what are the next gen gaming systems going to have?
i predict a dedicated physics card operating in conjunction with your video card, of course you will want a sound card for best 7.1 sound and the cpu will act as the northbridge in compiling all the info. any thoughts?

to me it looks like nvidia is intergreating their physics card with the video card, and ATi and AMD i'm sure are working on something... I don't think there will be serperate ones.
