[Sponsored] NZXT Phantom 410 Extreme Modding!! - Page 5

Hey, quick question for you since I see you got the xigmatek fans also. I ordered a couple of those exact fans and I have the black/orange phantom 410 on the way. Do the xigmatek fans fit on the front and side panels? Thanks in advance! Need to know if they fit so I don't have to return them

Yes! They both fit on the front with no problems, not a mod needed.
And then you can put the other fan on the side panel smile.gif Though side panel fans are stupid, and a pain to manage

Yes, I had a slight problem on the HAF 922 I built, but I think that's because I was used bitfenix's self tapping screw fans, which were a PAIN in the ASS.

Well its a build for my brother, I showed him the fans and he loved them, so the plan for now is to move the white fan in the front to the top, and then place 1 xigmatek on the front and 1 on the side. Then later when he has more money he will swap them all out biggrin.gif

EDIT: and thanks by the way!

Took a few photo's of it all outside!

Still a few things to do
- Sleeve GPU connectors
- Re-sleeve Fans if I have enough orange sleeve left over
- Shorten some cables under the psu cover to give it some more room
- sleeve the Front IO cables (exl USB 3.0)
- Get my Mayhems Orange Pastel fluid
- Longer link for the pump/res so that the pump sits on the psu cover
- Add some more cable management brackets if need be

think that is it...
Enjoy smile.gif

Very nicely done! thumb.gif

Are you going to clamp the tubing over the barbs?
How did the hard drive install go? (Did I miss a pic?)

Cheers

Thank you smile.gif

No no, 7/16" tubing over a 1/2" barb. tighter than a nuns ****. lol

Hard drives are under the psu cover, are just sitting there at the moment, so not really worthy of a shot. once they are set in place and look the part. The photo shall be revealed biggrin.gif

Sweet build, subbed. I really like the mobo tray. I have a heavily modded Phantom as well. Fitting dual 480 mm radiators in mine.

Thanks! The early mods can be seen here, with the build log here showing my most recent progress. I'm working right now on rewriting the latter to be comprehensive of the entire build and more professional.
