We are overclockers, and some of us fear change.

Thats sounds wrong, overclockers would be open to technological changes.

Ok guys I did it.

I just traded heaps of stuff away.

My XMS2 ram, my E6300 and my X1950Pro....all gone.

Those 3 I bought for $800 and sold for $600.

BUT, I got the three components in my system specs.

Thanx for the ideas, but the offer was too good. Lets see what this smithfield when paired with a 965P can do eh?

Lets hope it runs 333 x 15...

The 805 runs on a 133fsb, in order for you to even see it at 4.0ghz, you need to get it to 200fsb which it can be done with a good WC system or something like a TT120 or BT.

So 333fsbx15.......only in your dreams, the 805 is stuck at x20. But if you get it to 4.0ghz which it can be done, it's going to be fash enough, not a Core 2 Duo but just good.

Do you REALLY NEEEED C2D?

an overclocked 805 should be able to do pretty much anything you need it to do

the 805 hits 4 GZ easy, especially if your experienced

the $200 could go to some cooling and lots of pocket cash

OK, so far I have gotten the 805D to 3.92 Ghz.

The load temp however is 63C. Vcore bump is 0.1625. Is this too high?
