(Not sure where to host, could go to a number of places I chose a board that has viewers.. haha)
Story: Awhile ago I had Win8 installed, it was epic and fast. I installed it on a HDD that came from my last computer, which had SATA controller problems. Eventually it crashed and windows says the hard drive has a problem. I reinstalled the firmware before this happened assuming the controller could have messed that up. Still crashed anyways and on a startup it was restoring everything through DOS, I didn't care so I just went back to my win7 HDD. Been using the win7 HDD for awhile now.
So I want to run Win8 again. Defraggler says my 2nd HDD has an error. Is it the hard drive still messed up or did win8 just screw up? Is this possible to fix and reinstall without breaking again?
Also I figure I'll post this in the windows forums but would I be able to run games from the other HDD and get them set up in the registry properly appearing in my games folder without having to reinstall 10 games?
