Looking forward to seeing more of this build. Great job so far. Where did you order your acrylic from if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks Vigilanty, I get some from a local guy but he doesn't have much variety, only clear sheets, I got the rods from http://www.acrylicsonline.com.au/ and am thinking of ordering some smoked or tinted for the side panels from them as well, I'm in Australia btw.

Awesome! Thanks man. Been following your log but mostly just check the update pics so probably missed where you mentioned that.

Quick update, started work cutting out the motherboard and PSU slots on the rear panel.

P6100081.jpg

Ordered the 2x480 rads today, went with XSPC EX480's as they seem to be getting good performance reviews, also made a hole for the drain plug on the bottom panel.

Busy week so not much to add, did receive my rads and mb tray. I ordered 2 x EX480's but they sent one RX and one EX as they didn't have two EX's in stock, was pretty pissed, an email or phone call asking if it was OK would of been nice. Anyway after thinking about it a bit I have decided to keep the RX, will have to modify my plans a bit as its 3mm wider and I have left no room to work with, but nothing the dremel wont be able to fix.
Also picked up 3 more GT's for the rads and 3 Enermax silence fans for the case itself.

Have painted the Enermax's white and matte black, they are drying atm, will post a pic when I reassemble.

Cheers to all.

Finally seeing some progress, its starting to at least look like a case now.
Some filler and a light sand then a wash down before a coat of matte black.

P6230069.jpg

Have been looking at some of the 3M vinyl wraps and thinking of using one of those for the outside, I see they have a black brushed metal one available so might order a sample to get a better idea of what it looks like.

Well did hope to order the "smoked" acrylic for the side panels this payday but just copped a $200 speeding fine on my bike leaving work mad.gif Thought it would be best to get the side panels all fitted and working before I start on the inside panels, have bought some two sided magnetic tape that hopefully will be better than screws.
