Newcastle 3500+ voltage

post #1 of 8

Looks to me that you cant get above 2.5 and run stable without sticking 1.65+ volts into it, didnt really want to push that hard as im only on air still.

Have tried several different combinations and all come to 2.450 being the top i can get with 1.6 going into it.
I suppose the way forward is to go for a newer core.

Well guys difference of opinion on here, i have tried adjusting timmings and several different settings and every one comes back to having to put more than 1.625 to get the chip to be stable at 2450 (occt stable)

as posted this is a newcastle chip volts start at 1.5 (no spring chicken)

going to try an opty 146 = £48, friend has got his upto 3000 on water.

current settings here are.

245x10 = 2400
HTx4 = 961
divide at 333 = 201
2-2-2-8 1T
1.55 vcore

occt stable 30mins
