Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo II Cooler for GTX670 - Page 5

Focus on relative temperatures when you read a review. I find that their readings are higher than real-world performance, especially since you can set your own custom fan profile.

This makes me want to stay away from thermal tape, but who knows?

I just use the thermal glue from newegg.com. It settles within minutes but it is permanent so you need to make sure that you dont care about warranty stuff when you install it this way, lol.

I agree, my temps always seem to blow theirs away with these types of coolers which always left me scratching my head wondering why their temps were not nearly as good. They probably just leave the fans on auto as well but when these coolers are dead silent while maxing them out who in their right mind would leave them on auto anyway?

Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to stiffen the PCB and prevent the bending other than that ghetto pci backplate sitting there?

Yes very true guess these guys think its impossible to be better then a review. If you look at the 670 FTW thread everyone is getting the same temps or around my temps.

No..Not really. Rather than assumption of what we think, I find it unlikely when they have an open bench setup in an office and you're at home, not impossible.

From what I read, I can't help but think you have your fans on a very high preset to the point where noise is definitely more than audible.

Another question: Would the accelero twin turbo ii fit with an evga backplate? Since you would screw in some parts of the cooler (I think) and it would overlap with the backplate of the vga.

Posting your thought? you assumed i had a ac machine pointing into my computer, that just plain, ill let you fill in the blank.
You obviously didnt read good enough on that post OR watch the video to see the fan speed in the top corner. Very sad, very sad indeed.

That's pretty ironic. Before you criticize anyone on not doing something, please check you haven't done it to begin with.

Not exactly sure what word I'm suppose to fill in nor do I see a blank.

Well...At the moment, I'm at work and I don't have the time to watch you play for 5 minutes constantly checking your fan speed. However, I do have the time to check actual texts and pictures every so often.

Thats fine if you think it's sad. I'm going to leave our bickering at this since its blatantly obvious that you seem to think like a child in which the world revolves around your opinions.

I did say I would leave it at that with my last post but I do have one more thing to say: I will assume one thing. I assume that english isn't your native language (that's why I'm not criticizing you over it) and that is the reason why you think what you think. The phrase "For all we know" makes what I said after that a hypothetical situation. I never assumed anything from that, unless you're referring to something else which I would be glad for you to enlighten me about
