Aaaaand there goes the letdown. -____-

There was never any coop in HL. What are you being letdown of? lol.

-___- Black Mesa has been hyped up for years over having co-op, that was one of the biggest appealing features it had going for it. There also was co-op in HL1 using Sven.

I just played through and finished Half-Life this past weekend, well through Counter-Life (Half-Life mod with CS weapons/equipment).

Here's to hoping that Black Mesa will make its release by the end of this year. thumb.gif

Meh...like others have said, I will believe it when I see a download link. How many times do we have to hear how close the game is for release.

I don't know, I think Valve is well aware of how sensitive and drastic that decision would be. Source is extremely appealing to the community because of how openly moddable it is. The community has been waiting for Black Mesa for ages, I don't think Valve would take the pride out of the community's hands by simply buying it out and claiming it as their own work. They have millions of fans to keep their good image for.
