Actually having time to think about it, I know it's impossible that this would actually happen, but depending on time periods it could work.

Again this would involve not only desmond, but other people as protagonist.

I could really enjoy AC if set in modern days, maybe in a large cityscape like Manhattan. Could get a few games out of that if you travelled to different locations doing different things.

Could also have a future one, wouldn't mind having to be an Assassin in torn down ruins of Hong Kong or something, where even the ruins are multiple stories high with debris connecting them.

I know this won't happen, but it's nice to dream. I could see a lot happening in those and if I was part of the idea team MY GOD would I go crazy with what I could do.

I'm putting my money on the exact opposite of what I just said.

I guess I'll wait for 3-10 to be in some steam bundle summer sale thing =D I just suck I guess, I could never get the hang of the controls. That there desmond, or whoever he's thinking about at the time, just seems to run off and leap at some quite inopportune times redface.gif

Final fantasy does not need to die, its a new story each game. They could all have different names or be called FF

Assassins creed on the otherhand is extensions of one story, thats why the game does not need and should not be dragged out for 10 games. I wish they would just end some games in their prime. Sure epic TV shows could have kept going and 'made a profit' but they ended with class, leaving them a well renounced series in the end.


Xbox controller on PC works wonders with this game

I don't really agree with you guys though.

I don't really care about how many AC games there are going to be as long as they prove to be quality games. Yea sure, AC Brotherhood and Revelations are more or less spin-offs from AC2.
BUT AC3 looks set to be an amazing game (have you seen the ship battle??. And personally, I do not want a AC3 : Brotherhood or sth along those lines.
BUT I would like to see the AC franchise being brought to somewhere else.... Like sayyyy.... Ancient China, Ancient Japan, World War 2 Germany/US, Modern Day Countries like Hong Kong, Paris, San Francisco, Beijing, New York, etc. etc.

And they better have more than one protagonist apart from Desmond. We need another Lucy!!!

"We're going to milk this franchise EA style; each game will have barely any improvements over previous titles and consist of recycled content. Additionally, we'll pull content from the finished product to later sell as DLC"


Ah well. Ubisoft suck anyway. Another cash cow game on the horizon. Way i see it, you can't rush or force quality games. When profit comes before quality, that's when we get this garbage.

The first one was VERY repetitive, but still a cool game. AC2 is an amazing game and I had so much fun playing. Brotherhood & Revelations are also pretty good IMO.
