Post a laptop with a 15" 2880x1800 or higher screen for around the same price.

Still not sure if serious. Did apple make the Screen?
Either way good laptop I would say.

Yes, but it's still Samsung's grimy hands on the fryer, fabricating those chips.

No, they didn't make the screens but show me another laptop manufacturer with a 15 inch 2880x1800 screen that is available now. If Samsung did make the screens then why aren't they using them in their laptops. You can't hate one company because another company isn't doing what they are doing.

EDIT:
Innovation: A new method, idea, product, etc: "technological innovations".

As far as I'm aware the new 13" and 15" MBPs are the first laptops to use a res that high, therefore it is innovation even though Apple didn't make the screens. You must be thinking of "invention" rather than "innovation".

*Goes autistic* Ummm.. uhh.. umm.. it's just better bro! I agree with your POV on it though... I see the 650M being pretty limiting at that res on more demanding work.

Technology advancement.

In the last few years most laptops screens have been stuck at 1376x768, this is going to force other manfacturers to increase the res on their screens as well. Because of that they will need more powerful GPUs to make it work properly, this will then force nVidia and AMD to improve their GPUs.

You should spend some time with quality photo editors. You will be amazed at the difference a good screen can make.

Also, who said everyone's aim for getting a machine is gaming?
For those who do game, the GT 650 is a huugge jump from the HD3000, this is gonna sell pretty well imo.

While I will never buy a macbook for those prices, apple hate is unjustified here. They are a business ....

I'm anti-Apple myself, but I can admit that there is some blind hate. The HD3000s is not enough, and now the GTX560 with higher res is too much and useless. While I'd say 1080p or 1920x1200 would have been fine, (saying this part again) the 15" MBP got a pretty nice upgrade.
