By anyone's logic saying that the 7970 should be 400 because of the 670, that means the 680 should be priced only ~5% more right?

Anyone even looked at the benchmarks of the 7970? When its overclocked past 1200mhz it is the better card.

Also it ignores the DX11/DX9/D10 support references. Yes the 4870x2 is sweet, but 6870 has dx11. This chart should be burned in fear that it will confuse uninformed people with deceiving information.
I agree with you, it's quite deceiving and dare i say Nvidia Bias(but its tom's, so...) but it is a hierarchy based on performance, not features, and when it comes down to it the 4870x2 still gets it done in dx9/10/10.1 apps and games. Though i have personally owned Gtx 295, 5870 and 4870x2, the 4870x2 is slower than the 295 and even the 5870 in a lot of games.
