[GB] Diablo 3 Item duping hotfixed over the weekend

Blizzard recently issued a hotfix for Diablo III over the weekend. Supposedly this hotfix was to make a number of quick changes that weren't addressed in the patch released earlier in the week. Turns out, the hotfix was for something far more serious. Item duping.

Well their is one point for people against Blizz DRM not stopping anything. I personally was of the stance that if it stopped duping, I didn't have a problem with it but those people are crafty. It has been hotfixed but begs the question how long before another work around is found.

I second that. I hope they don't let Diablo go into the garbage can like D2 with all of the hacked items/hexes.

Eh, don't really care about this. The items people are finding now are low level junk in grand scheme of things. Let them fix duping of Goldwrap and crappy rares.

They were duping via crafting and getting all the mats refunded and keeping all the items crafted, I believe there is a low chance of getting even highest ilvl items via crafting(not positive) but essential they crafted for free until they would get really great items.

It's just sad, and I spend nearly all day working my ass off to 1 mil while ppl are easily getting 1000x more cash in a few minutes.

But is this "work" not half the fun for you in this game? The game revolves around finding items. While I in no way support what's going on, I've certainly come to terms with it. For those who only find fun in running A3/4 Inferno and want no part of farming items, than spending $15 when the RMAH comes up rather than spending 100 hours farming makes 100% sense. If you're farming all day so you can make $$ after then yes, it's clear anyone doing so is doing it the wrong way which is unfortunate.
