dumb question but...

I finally got around to install the 256 Crucial M4 that has been sitting on my desk for about a month now and I seem to have a problem. I did a fresh install, (ssd only w/ win7 disk, plugged in my other 2 HD after install).

I have my primary set up as the SSD. secondary is 1tb storage (movies music ect)

Now my issue, I can not seem to access any drive on this PC other than my primary from other computers in the house.

I have a couple ideas I'm going to attempt in the morning, but was looking for some additional input.

Right click on the drive you want accessible, click share with, click advanced sharing, then advanced sharing (again), then tick share this folder. Otherwise need to be in a homegroup for it to work without manually sharing each drive, to join one right click the newtork status icon, click open network and sharing centre, then beside homegroup click join.

FYI, for homegroups to work your location has to be set to "Home" rather than "Work" or "Public".

I've always found them to be finicky. Computers would randomly drop out of them, and then only certain PCs would see each other. I'd have to go to every PC and leave/rejoin the homegroup to fix it. For reliability I just went back to using regular shares.
