Did you follow my install guide?

Is your SATA mode set to AHCI mode or RAID mode, not IDE?

Do you have any external devices connected?

OCZ says it wipes off data on their firmware installer and they explicitly say "not to do so". Furthermore I have a 512gb drive and it refused to update but the performance boost was minimal so I couldn't be asked troubleshooting and didn't bother fixing it.
