Some 16GB RAM advise needed

Thread Starter

Will the first ram be compatible with the p8z77-v deluxe? I think yes, but it isn't in the G.skill "qualified motherboard list" or the asus' compatible memory list.

[ RipjawsZ ] F3-14900CL8Q-16GBZM (4Gx4) (CL8!) 141,5€

Would this be a better choice? (CL9!) 114,5€

[ RipjawsZ ] F3-14900CL9Q-16GBZL (4Gx4)

Corsair Vengeance CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9 119€

Or this was my first choice but I find the timings a little bit to loose. CL10 is not that good, I think.

It's better for the future but I think that I can better buy completely new ram if I need 32GB.

[ ARES ] F3-1866C10D-16GAB 135,5€

Also I like to know the difference between the Corsair Dominator and the Vengeance and between the Kingston T1 and the Genesis if the speeds, timings and sizes are the same.
Is it just more oc potential and cooler operation by a better heatspreader, or are the dominator and the T1 also faster?
At this moment my preference goes to the first one because of the nice timings and because it fits the color scheme of my mobo.

Edit: And what is that samsung ram people talk about on this forum, and can I find it in the Benelux?

G.Skill's "qualified motherboards list" on the first link means that it'll run in Quad channel on those boards. The p8z77-v deluxe only supports dual channel. But yes, that memory will run in that motherboard just fine biggrin.gif
