Temps differ (speedfan and CMOS readings)

Thread Starter
Ok, for some reason speedfan reads the cpu temps as about 5~6 degrees over what the CMOS says and everest stays at 40*C. I'm not sure but I don't think the sensor is faulty. I think speedfan just reads it wrong. Does anyone know why it might read the temps wrong? I even had sub-ambient temps when I checked the CMOS. I have a TT Venus 12 and used AS5.

This is normal - the bios shows around 75% load on the CPU whereas speedfan will show the real time temp (which will prob be idle )

Well if what you say is correct then his bios readings should be greater than his speedfan readings, but actually its the other way round for him
