I understand that. I had no problem with it initially, but I was not going to pay for shipping my system, and neither were they. Now that I've had time to think about it; I don't feel comfortable sending my hardware to a company I've never dealt with.
Taking shipping costs out of the equation, would you feel comfortable sending your rig to me so I could test your parts?
I'm willing to send them the khuler unit, as long as they pay for shipping. If the product is functioning correctly, then I would be responsible for the shipping costs back to me. We would've both spent the same amount and I would have carried on my merry way with less money. I do not like being in these situations, and would much rather just deal with my MB manufactuer, but I cannot due to this cooler. The evidence is there, and if it wasn't for this cooler, I'd be using my rig right now.
What are they going to test my rig for? Are they going to use their spare parts on my hardware? Are they going to assist me with the RMA for my GPU even if it's works after this accident? RAM? CPU? SSD? There are too many questions that I do not have the answer for. I worked hard for these parts, I'm possessive over them.
Did I mention that they wanted me to send along my drives with no concerns that they contained personal information?
The only reason that I can think of they would need the parts would be to test he chemical composition of the residue. I can do that with a few q-tips and a stamp, and it would be a lot cheaper on both of us.

This is publicity antec, the amount you save for turning down his RMA costs less than what we will think of your company.
Hope this doesn't happen to me, as the components shipping would cost a lot just for them to test it.
I did some research, and price to ship all of my components one way would be over $50 not considering dimensions of the box, insurance, and how that effects pricing.
