Well I'm certainly happy I bought an H50 instead of the Antec equivalent.

Best of luck to you, OP.

Good lucky mate!

I'll check that out, I don't mind because we all need exposure. I agree with dMaster, call them and keep calling them. I'm contacting antec today to determine my next move as soon as they open up shop @ 1pm EST.

Regardless, this has definitely made me think twice about Antec, I've always heard good things about their stuff; their cases are nice but this really takes the biscuit.
Good luck Nocturin.

Thanks smile.gif. If I had a rasa kit and it leaked, the only fault I would have is my own, and really I haven't done any major OC'ing, so I'd just go air smile.gif. I never even bumped the voltage, primarily because chip degradation bothered me, but I got the antec so I could when I got over my OC'ing fears...

whoops...

So true. I haven't revieved any email contact since last tue, and I'll be blowing up phones today, work permitting. The answer i get over the phone will determine my next steps smile.gif.

I am suing Antec and the retailer for neglect, unethical business practices, selling damaged unsatisfactory goods and customer service not to mention general disrespect and wasting my time.. if I dont get paid my refund by thursday then on friday I'm heading down to the small claims court, if the cost of buying computer hardware wasn't high enough, I am nearly $300 out of pocket, I have been frustrated for weeks now and I've had it mad.gif

Good luck Nocturin.

Get the XSPC Rasa kit. Costs a bit more but imho totally worth it then this closed loop crap from antec, they used to be good quality for the money but that was last year. My friend just bought a rasa rs or maybe its an rx240 kit few days ago and gave me his Kuhler 620 after seeing my situation, I'm using it on my GPU with "The MOD", so far so good.

I am pretty sure I can nail them under the consumers right act, or at least give them a run for their money. I once made $635 from an annoying telemarketing company that would call me every other day even after asking them to put me on their not to call list. smile.gif let antec hire or fly somebody down here to represent themselves in a court in a foreign country. we'll see how much those costs add up. When I bought their product I paid them instantly, in return I get 4 bad Kuhlers including one 920 not to mention having to pay for the shipping costs. An instant proper refund is the least they can do even if they dont want to pay the shipping which is almost $40 now. I didn't hesitate 2 weeks to pay them, they should at least do the same when refunding me specially after putting me through all this. mad.gif

my advice to you would be to get a refund if you can and look else where, you are better off buying a second hand kuhler purchased last year then a new one. look they either are going to give us a working product or not, I'm a student, money doesn't grow on trees, this much trouble is not worth it. frown.gif

Thanks a lot for your advice, I've been looking into one with a fairly big radiator and pump so I can fit a GPU in as well.

Thanks! Yeah i mean the label- I removed the sticker to send to Corsair for rebate but newegg gave me with middle finger even though I could have just slyly stuck it on with double sided tape or something.Newegg was going to pay 2 way shipping but not after the UPC fiasco. It's their policy and I could have read it- it was just a very stinky surprise. As it is now, I have to pay for shipping to corsair for JUST the cooler ($13) I'm probably going to rebate at the same time ($10) if I can.

After 2 minutes on the phone I had my RMA approved- they are having issues with their online RMA process.
*Update: RMA sent though just fine, item is shipped, and I should have replacement next week hopefully- Right now I just have a stock hsf resting on the cpu held in place by pencils XD I'll give a summary of my so far mildly frustrating 9just because of initial RMA difficulties) once I get my stuff back in the mail for good comparison. They SHOULD make coolers that don't even need RMA- but I suppose that's just the nature of the beast.

Things to take from this experience: Rebate at the LAST possible moment.

That's what I'm taking away from all this. I canceled my order for 2 920s (thank god for Amazon's 30 return policy) and have now taken Antec off the list of approved vendors at work. It's not a huge company, but we have spent roughly $2,000 on Antec PSUs and Cases in the last 2 and half years. Obviously water cooling is not appropriate for this sort of setting, but one assumes they are using the same customer service department. Antec is not going to be seeing any more of my own money and I'm not approving any more purchase orders for Antec products. Failed Antec units will be replaced with another brand, as apparently the RMA process is not worth my time (past a certain point it doesn't make business sense to waste man-hours trying to get equipment replaced). It seems foolish of them not to realize that many enthusiast consumers are also IT professionals, but I digress.

Best of luck to the OP. Still subbed.

Thanks! redface.gif

My days a little more free today at work, so I'll be calling this afternoon to see the response I get.

If it's not a positive response, well, it will start the jihad. I will keep updating as I get information, but we're almost at a week with no contact (analog or digital) from antec at all.
