So i want to upgrade to the AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Thuban, Im running on the ASUS M4A78LT-M motherboard.(NOTE i will be upgrading the motherboard later on) The phenom X6 is kinda old, i know that the FX series would be the way to go, but im still running the AM3 socket. So the big question is, if i get the phenom X6 in about 3 years will it be to weak and slow to stay up with the technology ??? i want this PC to last about 3 to 4 years
i run a home business, photo editing, video editing, games, and always have like alot of programs running in the back grown on my PC.
Will getting the phenom X6 be a good choose, or save for a FX and motherboard ???
