New Mobo Question

Thread Starter
I have been looking at overclocking my CPU as well as a potential upgrade to Conroe.

This is the mobo that I am presently planning on buying http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128017

My question was, am I better of waiting for the new chipsets from ATI and Nvdia to hit the market or am I okay buying now?

You'll be fine. With modded drivers, you can use both SLI and CF on an Intel chipset. You might want to spend a bit more money and get an Asus, I heard the S3s arn't that great.

For C2D that mobo will be fine - You might want to look into the GA DS3 aswell though

There is no difference between the S3 and the DS3, except for the solid caps on the DS3. The S3 will be just fine

It depends whether you want dual graphics (Crossfire or SLI). If not, then this board is just fine
