supported cpu's
http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=3897

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz 8MB 650 MHz Ivy Bridge 22nm E1 77W 100 F7

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz 6MB 650 MHz Ivy Bridge 22nm E1 77W 100 F7

Intel Core i7-2700K 3.50GHz 8MB 850 MHz Sandy Bridge 32nm D2 95W 100 F3

sure looks like it to me, update bios and done

but i have heard a lot of z68 boards will not allow you to raise the multiplier higher then 39,
so it's a 50/50 shot, buy 3770k and this board and you could be stuck, buy a 2700k and rock out...

One thing to keep in mind, if you were to get an ivy bridge cpu, there is a good chance you would need to use a sandy bridge cpu in the board to be able to flash the bios to one that will support ivy bridge, unless a local store can do it for you.
