Okay guys... This build is over and one with, and is about to be re-done. I'm going Intel with this thing. So, now comes the question. What should I do with the original AMD Big Red? Should I sell it, or get a spare case and throw it in there?

Get another case and use it at redundancy or for Lan-games biggrin.gif

If you're selling it, lots of buyers on here might be interested however...

The only thing about selling it here is that I can't currently sell things on here (not enough reps).

Well, If you are a folder it seems like a good 24/7 folding rig if you need something productive for it to do while you think about it. Also, why the switch to intel? An 8150 is a really good chip and should do whatever you need it to. I own the 4100 and it works fine. Not trying to dissuade you, just wanted to chip in my 2 cents, they might save you a lot more cents later on biggrin.gif. But if you are selling it for more than what the intel costs that's fine.

I'm not sure about folding with this. It eats a lot of power, and puts out a lot of heat. The main reason I'm switching to Intel is that my main "job" is youtube, and therefore I need to make videos. My 8150 doesn't render nearly as fast as I had hoped. I am also going to have many monitors, that will need like 2-3 GPU's to fuel them. Ant that would bottleneck on an 8150.

Can't have pictures without a good camera. And I prefer to buy a 3930k over a DSLR...

I've got an iPhone 4s. But this was my first build ever (title...) and it was quite stressful for me... I am not used to electronics making crunching noises. So I wasn't going to bother with pictures. I might get a little point & shoot camera and use it in my upcoming build, but we will have to see.
