Ponder we do make it mandatory, and I'm running v7 in Linux and have no Windows computer. Since HFM 0.9 (needed for v7) can't upload web page in Linux I will therefore have to quit? This is btw the current state for me (right now running a Winbox but that will go down in 9h).

I voted no. Since the program we're being asked to use is known to have a memory leak that requires it to be restarted every few days, I wouldn't want it running on my 24/7 rig. Its just something else I have to remember to do. Plus, I'm getting ready to go on a trip for about two weeks. Should I have to set up a remote connection just to restart HFM?

I think its up to the individual teams and captains to make sure everyone is folding properly. If people aren't responding or not being honest about their folding, then they shouldn't be taking part...
I voted no but if you must do this please make it for i7 only. I put out 7000 PPD with my Radeon and it is immediately noticeable when I am slacking or something is off.

Since the HFM monitoring relies on the log file, would it be possible to just simply share the log file via dropbox, apache2, etc. then have either a member on the team, or a Folding Editor be granted permission to see that file and create the HFM stats for you.

Sounds like a lot of work.

Well actually less work per person since you are only sharing an existing file rather then setting up a new program.  It will just be a little more work for one person to link all the shared log files and create the clients in HFM theirselves.
