They put this deal and take it down constantly - buy it, it's a very good deal. Just remember that it won't give the same performance as the 6750M or 7690M gpus

I can play BF3 and Skyrim and other new games with my Amilo Xa 3530. It has a Turion X2 64 Ultra 2.2 Ghz and a Radeon 3650 video card. Skyrims runs good enough and looks great but BF3 plays only at 800x600!!! This is a 4-5 years old laptop but the problem is that the cpu and video card cooler is too weak. It doesn't cool enough and then 2 things happens thermal throtteling and thermal shutdown. Hence I cannot recommend standard laptop for gameing and $500 is a low budget. I can recomend a barebone laptop. For example Deviltech laptops are made of barbones laptops. The Fragbook for example has up to 4 fans in SLI in the back.

If ur patient get the Asus for low temps, the Acer hits high 80s. But the acers a good buy, New and 7670m outperforms the 6650m, it says it doesnt by a bit but the fps say otherwise, the only bad thing is low HDD but its a good laptop still

dont get the acer with a 1600x900, that card can barely pull of 20 fps on bf3 max details, on the current res, 1368x768 looks and runs better, plus its 7..24 pounds and shorter battery life

It'll be very difficult to find one that will do what you want.

You'll need to find a good sale!

Just like my laptop in my sig, it can be done. You can find laptops easily around $500 that can play nearly any game out there. People like ghostrider85 do not realize how far laptops have come. You do not need 60fps @ max settings to play a game. 30fps does just fine for me in BF3.
