It seems that the H100 is better suited for me as of right now, as much as I love PC building, i'm pretty tired of opening my case daily. I really just want to enjoy my computer for awhile. I love the look of custom loops, but I dont think im up to maintaining one right now. So since the temp differance is pretty negligible, the H100 in p/p it is. thumb.gif Thanks everyone!

Are you a corpsman by chance? There were a ton of them assigned to 3rd Marine Logigistics group / okinawa when I was active, ah the good ol days

Anyway, cooling wise they are pretty comparable to be honest. Water can pull ahead if you go nuts with huge rads and super loud fans, but with a basic kit like the RASA it will
be slightly better but not amazingly so....

i too wish you many thanks for your service to our great country.

ive got both and the H100 is pretty tough, but in a high clock OC and hours loaded or gaming
it tends to waffle. it is rugged, but limited capacity means you might have to turn your OC down.
an ambient 28° on a 145vcore id see 82° for a six-ten hour session it moved to 88°-90°.
moving to a rasa 240 i maybe decreased temp 2°-4°, but the temps didnt creep, rock solid.
i attribute this to the capacity of reservior, hoses, block and radiator combined. the rx(thicker)
did do a hell of a lot better with decreases in temp and never a waffle on longevity of sessions.

It is...but I wish....

Anyway, to compleatly derail my own thread, I BOUGHT.......neither...?! Yup, I ended up getting a H80 instead, for no reason other then they were sold out of H100's didnt know when they were receiving anymore. So this is what I got, its not far off from the H100, maybe 2-3 degrees. Right now @ 4.8ghz its topping out at 71C on the hottest core. So im pretty happy about that. My old Khuler 620 wouldnt let me OC past 4.5 due to temp spikes. thumb.gif
