So I just got a new 6850, and it's temps are acting a bit odd (in my opinion).
After i turn my computer on, it idles at about 39-40ºC, even after 4 or 5 hours, but if i watch a youtube video it shoots right up to 52ºC, and stays there, even after i close everything, and the gpu load i 0%.
If i run the kombustor benchmark, it goes up to around 58-59ºC, and if I overclock it to 875mhz/1250mhz at stock voltage, it only goes up to 62ºC when at full load on the kombustor benchmark.
When I play games like battlefield 3, it only goes up to 55-56ºC.
Isn't this beahviour a little odd?
A little off topic, if my temps aren't that bad when overclocked, is it safe for me to run a 6850 at 875mhz/1250mhz, stock voltage at a max 62ºC?

. Even when i push the fan to 100%, it becomes loud as hell, the temps only go down one degree or two
