lol no no. I was going fast. It wasn't going "side to side"...it was just basically like driving sideways. The other games took skill to drift...but in this one, as soon as you steer, you're basiclaly in a perfect drift....and it will never spin out or something...lol. It sucks.

Minimizing didn't work, still artifacting while loading. Which eventually leads to a full system crash.

I tried out the Camaro SS, and during normal it was like "omg drift"

Then during drift it was like "OMG SUPER DRIFT/SIDEWAYS INSTANTLY/NEVER SPIN OUT, JUST GO SIDEWAYS!!! OMG OMG!!!!"

But ya.....it's not that good lol. Too unfinished compared to the other games.

EDIT: OH, and not to mention......NO WIDESCREEN!!!!....still. honestly, who the hell doesn't put in support for widescreen? Not to mention a max resolution of 1280x1024 lol
The gallarado understeers in normal mode. And I played at 1600 x 1200.

hmmm... weird. Still...no widescreen? What's that about?

EDIT: By the way...it minimizes itself on startup, and froze for ~10 seconds...twice while I was playing....

Great, 650MB of downlooading at 56K speeds and on top of that I have to register? I don't think so.

Why is it that in every game site, you either have to be a free registration or pay registration? I don't go to these sites, whatever happened to the...here download and go away.

I think I'll pay the full price on this one, I've never done it before but MW was a cool game and I paid $20 for that.

Well although incredibly easy lol 2 attempts before 1st in canyon with 34k score...drift I got 200k on 1st try....and 1st on first try of circuit...It will probably be entertaining to me for about a week before I go back to MW or U2....still gotta have it though Love the autosculpt I wonder if the tire width has an actual effect because if thats the case maybe why it was soooo easy lol.... Anyways there would be no way tires THAT wide would ever fit under that car but still looked awesome lol

Ran everything at max 4x aa 1280x1024 max res for monitor.....

I've bought everyone at release and that will never change as lo0ng as they make the NFS series

Anyways I registered for the 250k cap and waited about an hr before it finished, mainly because of waiting in line....I saved it but have no way of making it available never been good at anything like that but if there is a way I'd like to help

I totally agree that the new drifting really sucks. And if it minimizes itself on startup and you are running FAH, then try stopping FAH.

Need For Speed Carbon Demo is awesome!!!! The graphics are insane at MAXIMUM everything and it runs so stable and smooth with my single Connect3D x1900crossfire edition graphics card. My graphics card doesn't even have to labor at all with my just recently overclocked 4200 AMD Athlon processor at 2.55GHz. I am also planning on buying two more gigs of SuperTalent3200 DDR ram with heatspreaders for even better performance and speed .
