Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED 200MM problem... - Page 4

I just received my Spectre Pro 200mm and i have the grinding / clicking noise too frown.gif It's doing it on and off which is really annoying. If you push the center of the fan it stops for a few seconds then starts again. Tried with my Bitfenix Recon controller and with the molex adapter it came with frown.gif

Sorry to hear that ): Hopefully it doesn't die as well as mine did! heheh...

Definitively sticking with my Mega Flow until another company decides to make a 200mm fan. I don't trust Bitfenix fans one bit anymore frown.gif

Is this what yours did too then? Yeah i don't think i'm going to be able to keep it like this. The noise is annoying and constantly louder then quieter mad.gif

Almost sounds like ball bearings grinding, when laid flat it stops

It really is an annoying sound as it's occasional. It kind of catches you off guard and then you sit and try to fix it by pushing the fan. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Well I had this problem with all of my fans until they all broke down or died. Then after 2-3 days the first fans bearing died and it started making a grinding noise. Got it replaced, that one just stopped spinning. Bought a non-LED one and it stopped spinning.

And that's how I ended up with the megaflow biggrin.gif

Fair enough, back for a refund it goes! I don't want a silent PC to have a horrible grinding noise! It reminds me of the H100 pump grinding noise on a smaller scale.

CM MegaFlow is going back in

I know that feel....

I do wish the Mega Flow moved a bit more air, but eh, it does it's job just fine. I think it's interesting that there aren't that many 200mm alternatives. Quite a few cases do use them :/
